3Mers in Poland are providing shelter and support for colleagues and others fleeing from the Russian invasion in Ukraine.

3Mers have stepped up to support Ukraine. They have donated more than US $376,000 and with the 3M Foundation dollar-for-dollar match, Ukraine has received more than US $752,000.

Dr. Christian Seelandt, 3M’s medical science liaison for central Europe, went beyond his role to help surgeons in Ukraine get 200 negative pressure wound therapy devices and other surgical supplies.

3M and Discovery Education have opened registration for the 2022 3M Young Scientist Challenge. Students are invited to compete for $25,000 and the opportunity to mentor with a 3M scientist.

In honor of International Day of Women and Girls in Science, 3M reiterated its commitment to equity and how it’s working to improve access to STEM education for girls.
