3M and education non-profit Play Africa adapt 3M’s Science at Home series to make STEM education more accessible for the children of South Africa.
Scott Morris, 3M Global Diversity and Inclusion Strategist, explains his method of driving equitable change within the company and reflects on how 3M’s partnerships with North Carolina Agriculture & Technical State University (N.C. A&T) and UNCF (United Negro College Fund) are advancing the company’s equity initiatives.
3M has set new equity-related commitments within each of their four business groups. The commitments will leverage the power of each groups’ people, products, philanthropy and partnerships.
By the end of 2025, 3M plans to create 5 million STEM and skilled trade learning experiences for underrepresented individuals. 3Mers Dr. Cristina Thomas and Jackie Berry are excited to be a part of the initiative.
