Throughout her career, Michelle Woodard has seen 3M’s promise of progress. Now, as 3M’s first Black chair-elect for the Women’s Leadership Forum, Michelle will advance that promise and help others progress at 3M.

3M’s Not the Science Type, a documentary about the need for greater diversity, equity and inclusion in STEM, will be featured at Brand Storytelling, a sanctioned event of the Sundance Film Festival.

3M shows its support for The Hispanic Promise by raising the Hispanic Star flag at its headquarters in Maplewood.

3M and education non-profit Play Africa adapt 3M’s Science at Home series to make STEM education more accessible for the children of South Africa.

To advance its equity initiatives, 3M formed the Community Coalition - a project that will unite diverse leaders around the Twin Cities to advise 3M on how to equitably disperse a $50 million investment to address equity gaps in the community.
