The latest 3M Design Center, 3M's fifth, has opened in Shanghai, China. 3M Design China will enrich solutions for Chinese customers, build powerful brand experiences and bring a unique Chinese perspective to 3M's global innovation ecosystem.

3M China is dedicated to the development of innovative technologies and products that meet local customers' needs and focuses on fostering local innovative and creative talents.  3M Design China is inspired by local culture and insights and will collaborate with customers, business partners and other design teams to translate 3M science and technology platforms toward future solutions. 

Many 3M architectural product solutions including a variety of DI-NOC™ and FASARA™ film applications, as well as reflective films, have been applied throughout the new design center to spur creativity and enhance the work space experience. The open concept and direct proximity to China R&D Center - one of 3M's four Research and Development Centers - will stimulate spontaneous dialogue and early design involvement for increased strategic partnership and customer engagement.

The opening of 3M Design China builds upon the momentum of scaling design at 3M globally.
